Erased nickname cant change it back*

Ok, past weekend I was on PS1 and I changed my name, but because it didn't looked like i would have liked it i deleted it and I pressed kind of accedently on ok.... Got kicked due to no name... Then I go to my etconfig file, put my name back in, went to ps1 and... Server disconnected for unknown reason... (this happend more then 2 minutes after i got kicked) and even now the same shit keeps on happening...

Anyone knows a solution

or somthing

I think NQ saves the name you put when you're connected. So just try to go on a NQ without punkbuster, change your name there, and try to reconnect.
If it doesnt work, then i duno how to help :/

And another method;
- start up ET
- select Mod
- Choose No Quarter and 'load'
- go to your settings, game settings > change name
or
- enter /set name your name
