PS xavier Abuse of Rules

Im now starting to belive your admins are getting a little kick happy. I was told today to remove my signs from my name i.e. I have a sort of flag made from a program. I was told by PS Zavier to remove them in 1 min or I would be kicked.

Unless it was my H(*)M tag I am an admn on H(*)M server and as far as I know the rules state that no advertising i.e. Server addys or clan addys which I never do. Infact we have had a few PS members on our server and we make them quite welcome and dont tell them to remove the tag.

I dint asked you too remove youre H(*)M tag but the weird signs , you said made by a program , before youre name and after youre name , these are forbidden at the severs.

So this settled? shocked of the topic name but i see i dint react abnormal or abused

U can put ASCII signs into your etconfig, and so its possible that antisocials nick looks like it does, there is no programm needed for.

Forbidden Names and Tags

We don’t allow insulting, offensive or provoking Nicknames at our servers. For example:

    * No Nazi or Communist referenced names or tags. For example: SS, Adolf Hitler, Jozef Stalin, etc.)
    * No confusing nicknames. For example: Teammate, Teamkill, Enemy in disguise, etc.
    * No empty or standard nicknames. For example: ETPlayer, unnamedplayer, etc.
    * No namestealing.

I dont see any rulebraking here, sorry.

i knew it wasn't allowed , high admins told me long time ago , so i acted trough knowledge i had given from them. i just follow the lines that are given too me storm.. or i am doing wrong?

nope. all fine. those characters was not alowed. i also learned it like this from the high admins / owners.

maybe it isn't written in the rulebook, but well not every little thingy is written down.

well realy weird to open a admin abuse topic for a story like this. u just could remove those (illegal) characters.

he didn't talk about ur tag antisocial, he talked about those characters. for sure u can wear ur tag

xavi did the right in this case for my opinion. nothing to add. maybe just a missunderstooding.

Forbidden (or false) Characters
Strange nickname characters. This is not really a cheat or hack but the main reason we don't allow them is because the server may experience problems interpretting them causing server lags, warping etc.
Action: Warn player to remove the characters or rename the player. If he refuses or change his name back; Ban!

Namehacks
Namehacks may include false characters but most of the time you don't notice them by looking at a players name.

How do I know someone is using a namehack?
They cause strange server behaviour noticable by all players;
- your cursor suddenly moves to another corner (way up or way down)
- your gun shoots a few rounds without firing the gun yourself

These things mainly occur when a player with a namehack connects,
spawns, gets killed or says something in mainchat.
Action: Ban

I made my name about 1 year ago its stored on a .cfg file its not a program that runs during ET. Its simmilar to a .txt file which is /exec'd during the game to change my name. No name hack or weird scripting going on otherwise ET would not recognise the symbols. The symbols exist within the game and are recognised by the software other wise you would not see them then that would be a "namehack".

Punkbuster doesn't allow extended Ascii characters We don't allow extended characters, end of story.
