I can answer these questions

Photoshot CS3 is probably harder to use, because its aimed at the pro's

As for the rest, youve been confused by the "CS3" part

Photoshop CS3 is different to Fireworks CS3 (my program) which is a defferent type of image editing program, which is super easy to use.
Flash CS3 is an animation or game making application, Dreamweaver CS3 is a website creation application...
Anyway all of these are in a package called CS3, made by Adobe, and you can get CS3 Design (A sub package)
CS3 Professional ( I think, another sub package)
and CS3 Master (everything

)

I hope that clears things up...

I would personally suggest Fireworks CS3, its nice and easy, but Photoshop is good because you can do more advanced things, but its much harder to use..
