Voted for 1 inn 2 months. Don't do it too often because then the fun will disapear. But you should do it a few times a year. so i thin once every 2 months will be fine.

Well of course would be cool to make FW more frequently but the problem is to set them up... I mean, last funwar tech crew (server config) was made up of ichi, stephan and me. That's all.
And we barely found ppl to ref the matches (ichi, icy, seb and I).
It took us time (around 2 weeks to motivate other HA, set rules and the 3 servers up) and what did we get in return ?? Mostly whines during matches cause of people who didn't know the maps/no shows/empty teams etc etc... And not even a single "Thank you for having set up the FW" or so.
Don't misunderstood me, I'm not searching for any consideration nor whining cause it was a thankless task. Actually I was happy to did it. Buuut the question is : who wanna organize the next FW(s) ?? Where will we find servers this time (since neme who kindly lent us his root, closed it few months ago) ?? Who has enough server config knowledges to set FW servers up ??
Obviously it's a matter of motivation but ALSO hardware resources.

Lol, I don't see what an announcement got to do with it?
Last time people were well aware of the dates and already training a week in advance. Even the servers were already up for about 1-1.5 week.

About the config, why cant we use the config of previous wars? And about refs, can only ha be it? Cause i think some members would like to do it... I can believe it takes much time, but why dont we always use a fix form? Well i better keep my mouth shut....When you cry, we ll be there to sing to you

To answer you, ye we can use the same config as the last time (which means that future FWs will be ETPro).
The problem about the servers is still here (on a temp bought root ? with which money ?)
And the time problem isn't solved as well... Last discussion about FW3 started on the 28th of March and FW3 took place on the 27th & 28th of December. Got my point ? First you have to find a suitable date for the tech team (depending on each one's availability) and of course for the players. Then choose the mods and discuss the config (can be solved by keeping the same config, true) then find the war servers and make all of this fits. And finally find some motivated guys, who will be available the FW days, to ref the matches, and a cool Ape to design us a sweet announcement pic for forums. Then announce it to members, find team leaders and still we have to give players some time to train... Etc etc etc. That was my main point, it took a loooot of time Maybe we were a bit lazy for the FW3 and we could have pushed the subject a lil bit more so the FW could have took place a lil bit earlier, but still.
Anyway, your discussion isn't pointless of course, cause we could improve the way we organize FW to make them a regular PS event... Like the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter FWs f.e. like someone suggested above. But, reading your votes, it's rubbish to think we could organize one FW every 2 months. Two or three FWs per year appears more realistic to me.

It is very complicated talk about funwar 
...i think maybe 2 max in the year would be better...and too much players dont play for "Fun" they play for competition and is there when im out, i dont like the competition, i like play day by day, but i prefer play for fun in my dear PS1.
Other thing, last funwar was in ETPRO, how much players play in ETPRO??, i think isnt the majority, so...if the majority play in no quarter, the funwars must be in no quarter
