ciao technabs

i need all you help please

instaled brand new drivers for my grafic card .... ATI HD5850 ... in every game is good, running as designed ... but ... ET not

add: i didnt change anything ... just updated drivers ...

the cause is probably the new drivers. ive read that ati drivers have had few probs with some games in the past. maybe downgrade the drivers, and see what happens.

or leave the new ones for better performance in new games and stable grafic card ....

i had the same problem in the past and wasn't able to solve to problem. If i'm not wrong i've used the same grafic card.

got same problem on ATI Radeon 4670 HD

but i had to upgrade them because somehow my 'GPU' didnt supported my vid card anymore. strange....

It is fixed in the drivers I have and that you don't have yet.

100% Same problem, just wanted to watch on the servers again and play a nice Afternoon-Round and now this: Black water^^, okay.. may BP made it.. idk.

Using:

ATI Radeon 4800
- Catalyst 10.05
- Win 7 64 bit...

Lets wait

.. just trying to dl the 10.06...

Edit: Downgraded to 10.03 - WORKING.

I tested it but when I startup ET it crashes, hope I didn't injected now some one or other hack.. but it's not working for me on windows XP

The dude did one post, to post a random rar file.. Better don't use it I'd say.

A similar solution is posted on the Quake Live forum btw;

Only difference is to copy-paste the file into the system32 (win32 bit) or SysWOW64 (win64 bit) folder. Make sure you back-up the original file first!

I uploaded atioglxx.dll (XP) for you, out of the original 10.4 installer.

There's not much that can go wrong here, but if you want to waste time re-installing ET feel free to do so
