wall issue

hello. i'm having problems with walls and objects only on certain maps: paris bastille , special delivery and many other. walls and objects appear and desappear randomly. how can i fix it?

Could you give any video/screen of it?
Maybe try to update your gfx card.

But more serious, are you running ET on Mac by any chance?

If so, I don't believe there's any real solution, see also;

Yes. I am running OS X on an Intel mac. It's the same problem. Well, it seems I cannot play these maps or risk a ban. :(
On my old PPC Macs ET was running fine. If I find any solution I will post it here.

PS. I have played RTCW and ET for years and I like even, balanced and fair playing.

What happens if you set r_colorbits "32" in both your etmain and nq configs.

Otherwise place the following autoexec.cfg (right-click save as) in your etmain folder, which basically includes the same command.

There is no problem running ET on a MacBook Pro 17" (NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT).
The issue appears when playing with a iMac i7 27" (ATI Radeon HD 4850). Maybe something about the drivers?

I'm looking for the solution (warren, i've tried yours but the problem persists). Meanwhile I can play the whole map rotation on the laptop :)

selecting low quality sky when playing affected maps resolves the issue. i don't know why but it works.
