Server list problem/ Connection problem

Postby Harpix » Thu Sep 22, 2011 11:25

Hi there!

As you might or might not be aware, i was gone for some time. Now, I was thinking about playing this game again... Yesterday all went fine, i sucked donkey balls obviously but still, i could run the game.

Sadly now I ve been faced with a small problem.
I cant see any servers listed in the game, nor can i connect to a ps ip...
While checking this help desk, i found others with the same problem, but no solutions were given...

In order to help you help me, here's some info:
Laptop with Vista, ET patched to 2.60b, Run as administrator and XP compatibility modus, PB updated and enabled. While checking http://www.whatsmyip.org/ports, it says time-out. I dont think i ve got a firewall blocking ET since it worked fine yesterday.

Hope someone can help.

Love and kisses,
Yours truly,

Harp

Yes. Or if you have some configuration tool for this router (through http) you can probably reset your router through this.

vista is what was windaube millenium at its time : :bad:
imho if you have to reinstall, go back to xp or, if your laptop can stand it, seven ^^

anyway, ontopic : ps servers are using 27960, 27961 and 27962 UDP ports, recents routers uses uPnP so this ports are automatically opened when you need them, your perhaps have uPnP off or don't have at all, but you should be able to open them manually
