XPsave problem with my noquarter's server

Postby Atlantis » Sat Dec 23, 2006 16:03

I'm linux user (mandriva 2007).
After playing on Prime Squadron server which have no quarter mod, i decided to install a no quarter server on my computer for a LAN which will take place in a few days.
I regulated several problems and now there remains to me this problem : xpsave

Below handling which I made :
- In noquarter.cfg (/home/xxxxx/.etwolf/noquarter/noquarter.cfg), I have :
set g_XPSave 15
set g_XPSaveFile "xpsave.cfg"
set g_XPSaveMaxAge 0

Like this, when I lunch my server, lunch and join a map, make few XP and disconnect and that I will see in in the noquarter directory, no file xpsave.cfg was created, and if i returned on a map on my server, my XP is 0. So I created a empty xpsave.cfg with permission -rw-rw-rw- and lunch again my server, make few xp and disconnect. I will see the contents of xpsave.cfg in the noquarter directory but it's always empty.

Did somebody already encounter this problem or could how solve it? I sought a long time on google, but any relevant result.

All these cvar are already declared. I start to think that it is a problem of permission, but I do not see where...

Here is the log when I lunch the ET server, join the map desert, and diconnect+quit the game. http://tyr.ath.cx/konsole.txt

Do you see the problem there??
