what you mean with hot?, the problem is with old vid cards the vantilator inside disfuctions after long piriot , youre vid card gets overheated when it needs too do more things ( what requires grapic seport ) when you play ET it is getting overheated but with a good van inside it can take it but with a bad old one you need too replace it and these days they dont just sell the van you need too buy a total new vid card because old van's dont sell i think :)

Hope too be helpfull Greetings Xavier

Hmmm my PC is running near 24/24 and my GC has not any ventilator....and no crashes..

I've first thank to a GF problem indeed for your PC Zomb...., then update all devices (Mother card, GC, ...( but i'm sure you ever did it ).
If anything works maybe try to check your BIOS, after updating my mother card chipset i've had one time to set again my BIOS (and reboot of course)
And coz i'm a nuub if all of that does not work i would have format, uninstall all composants and tried other composants ports.
Finally maybe if your windows version is cracked try to change it ( some very good light versions are on the net ;)

Good luck man and hope to see ya soon

A normal temp for a graphik card is about 50° c but when ur gaming it can reach more than 60°, so don t worry ur temperature is normal.

So, someone know what at good video card is? I saw a nvidia, but that one is €400  Dunno what a good card is, my old one was ATI radeon 9700/9800 series. But I can't find them here only other onces. I want to spend max €80,00. So do you guys know a good vid card?

EDIT:

I saw this vid card: XFX / nVidia GeForce FX6200. Not so expensive (€69,95). But is it good enough for gaming
