You're right. The boosted Xreal engine exists, but isn't ported yet.

whats with mods like noquarter?
pb?
servers?

think about it since now we need to maybe even apply more security since what prevents a modified client(self compiled) with intregrated manipulations from playing on a original et server?

for me as server owner this in my eyes will make more problems that bring goods....

One of the major problems when a popular MMO game is able to get a graphic overhaul, is that there'll always be a fair part of players who will want to stick to their old-fashioned game. I'm afraid this might "split" the PS community into 2 or more clans...

Of course you have multiple servers so it might be ok, but that's already hard when players try to change little settings (I only have medics in mind, but there's more)
so something this massive... :(

it's great to imagine how this will be gameplay-wise, but we should also look towards players.
