Enemy Territory and Windows Seven

Postby HOSS » Sat Jun 06, 2009 20:57

Hi Folks!

I had just the time to test Wolfenstein Enemy Territory a couple of hours on an Windows Seven RC System.

All I can say, is that the Installation works simply and fine and the Game runs very well, so that i think no one must do without it on a Windows Seven system.

Greetz to all of you

Actually it would have been quite a surprise if ET would not run on Win7. :)

a) Win7 is quite similar to Vista
b) Win7 uses a XP mode for old and incompatible progs (but dunno performance)

But nice that you tested it. :)

ET works on every build of Windows 7. I tested Build 7000 (beta), 7057, 7068 and now the RC (build 7100).

I also got that problem. Wrong 'Windows API' or 'Driver / Program'. Warren posted something in my topic [stfu]Internet Connection about that problem. Didnt try it, but go ahead ;)

I tested it under Windows 7 RC without the VXP Mode.

and the problem with PB seems to be a software problem on the side of the programmers from Evenbalance.

But it might work under Windows 7 32bit (64bit?) if you passed the PkbA and the PkbA in your security rights managment.

I will test it in a couple of days and tell you then more.

So long folks

(yeah i know, old inactive post, but i post anyway!)

Use Win7 64bit on my home pc. ET works fine with it, no problems at all.
