PS#8 - keep or ...

1 week of PS #8 test period is over...

(i know it should be in PS#8 section but not many players might visit it)

simple question...
do you want that ps #8 stays?
if not then its no prob...
ill just rename it...

just want to see what you all think about it...

ive been on this server but no one plaing there.. we would like to play a lot on etpro so if will be posible to keep your server i will visit..

Players will come by the time. If there is a select group playing there much, it will grow fast.

I would say, let it stay. But....

you have to think about the fact if it aint to much you are paying. Maybe its better to get 20+2 slots. And is it possible to get rid of the server at any moment ? or do you have to pay for 1 year or something. Than i wouldnt do it cause its too long period. You need maybe another evaluation period of 2 months.

Thats the problem with servers you cant draw any conclusions after a period of just 1-2 weeks.

but isn't it just an other created server on the root which PS #1 have in use who is needed anyway?

think we should keep it, for some clanfights is an etpro server good to have.

i dont mind keepin server...
even with 32 slots for 32 â‚¬

but...
whats the point of all this if it is emty :\

so generally if no1 playing there then its just a waste of â‚¬...

but if people accually having fun in PS #8 then im happy too

i had/have great plans...with this server...
Events...

but with 4 or 6 people its useless

wait some weeks and if it doesnt work, so let it run etpub / nq or any other nice mod which auto attracts people ... most people dont play etpro because of it got no xpsave :/

but landsy ya are right...
many people have problems with connecting into ps #8 ...
seen many connects-disconnects...

its sad to see this...

so yea...but atm poll is about keeping or not

[whisper] xp-save is ...
but after server restarts...
it will be gone
but if ya dissconnect and if you come back while server havent restarted then xp are restored [/whisper]

yee like Jonny I went there when haven't been anyone , but I think you should keep this server for a little longer , about the connection for the first time it was little hard but everything is ok , btw. can this server can be shown on a Server Monitors on the website? , so everybody can see if there are some players on server

Voted yes.

I know that i'm not on you're server, but i am verry bussy the last days.

It's nice to see a Etpro server here on PS, but it's indeed unuseless when no1 visit it. I would keep it for 1-2 weeks and loews the slots.
If it's still empty then ''Delete'' it. my opinion

I vote yes becouse i like very much Etpro but now i cant visit it becouse i have to study hard (school exams

) and I dont have time to visit even my favorite PS 4 server but if I pass those exams you can count on me so you will see me on PS 8 :wink:

yee would be nice if rapidhail finds some time to add this server (maybe too PS #9) too the server monitor. maybe this earnts also then some guys which are interested and connect.

ye test it some weeks lethal. if it's still empty u can also try to write a config to switch between NQ and etpro for example (don't ask me how but this should be possible ^^). so peoples begin to know this server more and more and maybe also learn to know etpro and will like it

Yesterday, it was in the evening very crowded. I went to some PS servers and got some players to do some real shooting, hehe. Finally we end up with:

Boemerang
Simon
Aferis
Lisa
Lethal
wenSz

and some unknown players.

If most noticed, etpro is very hard. Only Aferis and Boemerang are players who are used to etpro. Normally i can keep up with these guys in NQ or Etpub, but in etpro there is some differences in aiming, hitboxes etc.

I dont play ET as much as i used to, but the time i have for it at this moment i'll train etpro (unless there is nobody on server, but than i'll try to get some.) Im glad deadhunter gave us the advice in the past not to play wars, cause we arent ready for it yet. We sure need some more training.

But what i want to say for the etpro nuubs under us, like me, dont think if you got killed a lot to stop. Just keep training and training and you'll see it will goes better. in the beginning i got pwnd by some players with etpro experiences. But now, after some days, i already can keep up with some.

I think we can learn a lot from boemie and aferis, lisa also good, and my goal is to get pass there skills

. WOuld be hard, but when train and concentrate, all is possible.

that new2.pk3 wose my bad...i deleted it from server

it hould be now ok...
(this is campaign file, but accidently i uploaded it to wrong foler(etpro)
then i uploaded to etmain...but i forgot to delete from etpro folder :oops:
