Spawn times

These custom 18/18 sec spawn times ruin all maps, default is better.

For example upgrading spawn in baserace is useless because spawn time is always static 18 secs and all other maps that have dynamic spawn times are *beep* up.

I have changed the respawntime to 12 as a try , will run it for 2-3 days and see how it will works, then will keep it, put a compromise between 12 and 18 or again back to 18, will see.

the problem for these nq spawtimes is: same time for attackers and defenders. Its just a huuuuge advantage for defenders in most of the maps when they spawn so fast. I know its a public and nobody wants to wait long after he got killed. but 12 seconds spawntimes... something like 15 for attackers and 20 for defenders would be great imo.

Totally agree with funner.

ETPro spawntimes are 20/30.. too long for me thats why i hate ETPro for that :p
But in general 15/20 is really good.. definately better than 12/12 18/18.. 20/20..

ehh, i never meant they should be smaller.. i meant that they make maps with dynamic spawn times less interesting.

And by "ruin all maps" i meant exactly what funner said: Same times for attackers and defenders make huge advantage for defenders.

Imo the best is default spawn times, which is 20/30 secs afaik and maps with dynamic spawn times would work too. But I guess that's too long for some or most ppl :roll:

And before someone asks.. dynamic spawn times: upgrading spawn in baserace, after gate is blown in paris bastille, command posts in low_tram, etc.
