'Soz 4 Wpierdol'

Postby c4f3r » Sun Sep 12, 2010 20:00

Im creating this thread to discuss a problem. So lets start.
I've made a bind, which comes from my Polish surrounding, which i found just cool.

"Soz 4 wpierdol [name of the person i killed]"

I used it for all the day at ps1, i didnt noticed anyone felt insulted in the matter of fact like 50 per cent of ppl playin on ps servers are Poles.
But in the evening -PS-Mike, who is a Pole said: 'Cafer, you can't use this bind here '
( or something like that )
I asked why, he said that some one may feel hurt when using Harsh word.
Its hard for me to translate "Wpierdol " on English, so i hope someone will help me to explain it's meaning to you.

Im used to binds, i just cannot live without them.

You will say : you cannot use polish words in this server.
Ill answer that i've noticed some polsih ppl (also one is PS ) that use binds like
'/bind x "vsay Welcome Spoko"'

why than cannot i use just a one word.

The point is that if soem one felt insulted or just bad ill ask him to give me another word to put it instead of "Wpierdol" in my bind.

P.S. I know my English is bad, Im sorry for my fails.

only English is allowed on main chat. and as far as im concerned, all the binds are going to the chat. so for me it doesnt matter if its a bind or a regular chat message -not allowed. why not use an English version of this?

mainly why?
Mainly because i just dont know the english version of this word.
2ndly i think just polish version of it has any sence. The translation just inst the same.
Yea i also can say :
-Sorry for killing you
-Sorry that you are worst than me
-Sorry for my skill
-Sorry that you are jealous ( i maby failed ) of my
-Sorry that you can't be as good as i do
-Sorry that im playing here with my skill
But it isnt just 'Soz 4 wpierdol' and you may feel that i feel better than you.
Btw will you also ban ppl to use binds:
'/bind x "vsay Welcome Spoko"'
'/bind x "vsay NeedMedic Medyka !"'

i think that if a person sounds a voice saying welcome or no problem they will know what 'spoko' means and if he hears a voice saing I need a medic they will find out what 'medyka!' means.

Im just sad that i cannot say it in polish because in english whole the bind will lost sence.

If you realy say 'Cafer, you are banned to use this bind' i just ask you what word should i use instead.

This is fun

So only the guy you killed will think he's bad and you're the best?..Do you even have a bind where you screw up and say sorry?or only ego-binds? :P

Kinda harsh as it says. And I've never seen people whining about voice binds in another language, but if you strictly want to follow the rules, better avoid it.

Why to use such binds? Ain't it better to use english so everybody could understand what do you mean by those?

And as far as rules says, english only

I'd say to not use it (and personally I would punish you for such bind [after requesting to unbind it], as member)

I'd actually prohibit it not because of the word, but because this is extreme e-penis masturbation.

You can't make up such kind of rules by yourself. So I could say I don't understand English, and spam french & dutch in main chat with binds? Or should I show you my polish skills? (you don't want that, really)
Just avoid using bad language, even less in another language.

goku dont start in outher language that would be horrible for the people :D.
pls spare us :D

and cafer if you say you cant speak english, well why you type english in chat??
alle my opiniun is english in main chat means english in main chat so binds must also be in english.

+1 goku.
and it seems we not care much about using different language as voice chat.
i mean i see alot of them arround ps1 even when srv owner is online or not ;)

but i think its related to what kind of voice chat language u use like the 1 up here,
should be a bit of risk.

so ive not rly more to add since goku said the most :)
