Wheels of War ETQW MOD

Postby Rhythms » Thu Sep 27, 2007 8:35

This sounds like it could be some fun though
I've never heard of anything like it for a Q3
game!
Wheels Of War

"Features:

- Vehicle based carnage.
- Built upon the excellent vehicle physics within Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
- As with Enemy Territory itself, based upon various campaigns.
- XP translates straight into profit/credits for use in upgrading/repairing/purchasing cars.
- Creatively built maps providing a mix of straight-through racing, trick jumps and scope for exploration.
- Power-up system similar to carmageddon but expanded to take advantage of online play.
- Multiple control modes, from standard keyboard layouts to more intuitive mouse-only interfaces.

More in depth:

Brought to you by Colin "Domipheus" Riley is Enemy Territory: Wheels of War (Working title). Combining
the excellent vehicle physics of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and the gameplay of past single-player
favourites, Wheels of War aims to be a fun, yet intense modification in which the player battles it out
for glory on the race tracks.

Online play only, as with ET itself, Wheels of War focuses around Campaigns. Players can use
credit earned over this campaign to upgrade and repair their chosen vehicle. Upgrades are only
applicable within a certain campaign and do not carry over into the next." [ READ MORE ]

Carmageddon inspired gameplay into the online gaming scene.

Hehehe that could mean some serious fun 8)

But yeah agree with storm, the full game itself isnt even out yet, and this will probably be a big download (new vehicles, maps etc.).

I'd rather see a WWII conversion mod, NoQuarter for QW :P with authentic weapons/physics (WWII deployables etc. 8)), that would also attract more ET people i think :)

The mod just looked like some fun..
So I thought I'd post it to let you guys
know there was some Mod progress
going on. :)

I agree with warren, but not necessarily
a WWII conversion but just NQ. Give it
speed and agilty and a better knife and
I'm happy! :P

Giving it a WWII feel would be just be
making it back into W:ET! Hehe..

Well I guess that's what we all want :P
