I'm sad that i need to show it, but his post was... Dunno how to express, but I know one thing - PS1 will not be as playerfull as before. PS1 is empty.

I think that is really sad, Bor3wicz was good admin!!! I'm shocked what Damelon And Icefrost made with PS1? Primary server should have many players! Not 3, not 5, much more! And this is real truth - 1st time when u made EtPub on PS1, people went to other servers, and STAYED there. Even when u fixed that mod bug they stayed there (PS2?). No players on PS1 at NQ, no players at EtPub. Simple. And I'm very dissapointed. 9 months ago IMO PS looked like great ET Comminuty. WOnderful servers, nice admins, now it's going worse and worse, and I think it'll stop when PS will be dead.

That's all that I would say.
BTW: Do not delete that topic, do not hide the real truth.

BTW: Site admins - don't worry, I didn't hack PS site and I don't have permission to Member Forum. Some person showed me that.

ps1 was etpub then NQ then jaymod then NQ now etpub (if im right)

jaymod decreased the amount of players i guess

but you say PS dies because ps1 is currently not as full as ps2? huh??

No I don't only say that because PS1 is empty PS will die. I also mean, that PS can crash some people, and their behaviors.

woosh, i don't know what to say.. I think this is the wrong way to look at things, so disappointed.. so pessimistic..

Maybe it is true, maybe PS is getting a little backwards. But than you should not just look at it and do nothing. You should do something about it!

And about PS1. Like many ppl said: give it some time. PS1 is a little empty atm but once and a while there are 10-15 ppl on it, i think the amount of players will grow if u give it the time.

PS #1 is setted nice, i didn't had time to do a lot with the configs but damelon did it well.

# it's summer, lot of vacations

# too much mod changes in the last time

# give it some time

# propositions about the configs are always welcome

# opinions how to fill the amount of ppl are welcome

# there are a lot of other new games

i just don't see there a point between bore's post and PS #1 those days. server is setted very well, but ppl have still to come by ther own, so it's up to the ppl. sure we always will make the config better + think about some things, but at all it isn't anything bad with the server, settings, maps etc. it's just up to the players to connect.

so just play there instead of see only the thing in a bad way. u can also do something against it -> playing there, will attract other ppl to connect of c.

anyway, PS won't die, it's not about 1 server. we have enough potential, just some ppl are needed and i guess after the vacation time we will earnt them back to PS #1.

Why did you post this? it's not relevent its an old topic, bor3 has left there is nothing you can do now. this is just spam. and what are you talking about? theres no real truth? he left because he didnt like some admins big deal? this happens quit often. u just broght up and old topic and supported bor3. why?

i dont think ps is deing, ps1 is a bit sucky atm with players but there are some days with high players there are high hopes

What i have to do?! I'm not PS and I'll never PS! I wasted ONE year to be in PS, i was nice, and I met nice friends thats all. Yeah I know, admins don't want me to be PS, like Frodo. I can understand, it's normal. Some ppl play 2 months, bit lick asses and they are PS, then high admins. But I'm not like that kind of person. But I won't waste one year if w would know that I'l receive nothing. Yeah, "some candicated must wait about a year to be PS"
Now I learned 1 thing - play for fun, not for levels. SInce I started playing on PS servers, i knew that PS is a big family, and i hard wanted to be member of them. Now i see that PS family is dying.

Returning to PS1 - Yeah, give it some time, I can say it when I see 0/50 at 10 PM on Friday evening!

Well u can't blame PS about it, you should know that they don't always vote yes and u are risking a risk to waste a loong of periode to become PS.
No one has become PS in two month as especially not with asslicking.
You should have learned it from the beginning to not play with lvls.
So u want to give PS a bad feeling by posting this becuase it is already dying huh?

Yeah in a certain point of view, you right... When I started playing on PS, PS1 was full all the time, even more than PS2, that's true...

Now the server is most of time empty... I really don't think it's damelon's fault, he made great efforts especially in the last months to improve PS1 and keep it alive... (btw if you have problems with damelon, solve it directly with him !! Not hiding you behind the bore's leaving post !! Especially when damelon is on holiday)

So the successive changes (mods, etc...) on PS1 didn't manage to take players back, but you know Maserman, all big and great communities (like PS) have to pass through that... Ups and downs... It's like the world goes !!

So don't worry, PS1 will soon be back with great new config and good admins, and then ppl will come back to it !! Just a matter of time !! And PS will be stronger than ever !!! :twisted:

remmember when first time PS#1 wose near closing edge?
Most of players were shoked and all wanted to help borew, because ps#1 wose heart of PS ...

if ps#1 server owners want to change something, then i suggest to change a bloody sv_pure 0 to sv_pure 1 !.... Then i would accually again start to spend time in PS#1 even if it is emty

+ i have seen a etpub server where after map there willbe a voting window when ya press "More" and there is big list of maps and players give 3 votes for the maps that they prefer to play and next map willbe the 1 that has most votes...aint want to adverst so if ice or damelon are intrasted i could give server address where it is working. (or i is in every etpub server?)

and about that a*slicking...
some admins see it through, some not...

Gonna say also something

PS1 maybe empty but we ve got more servers then PS1. PS2 is always pretty much full and since PS1 is losing players PS4 has becom more popular.
It isnt because PS1 is our primary server that it must be the fullest one. (am i right to say that at bunker its the same? that 1 is less popular then 2?)
Its been soo for ages that the player amount of PS1 has ups and downs and after every down there is a positif evolution and a new thing that makes people come back. (Its like the economy :wink:

)

What i personally think that plays a bit part of the down spiral of PS1 is the fact almoust nobody gives levels there anymore. I know you shouldnt play for levels but I know too that people are happy when they get some just because then they got the fealing "hey! I m good! People appreciate i m playing here!" and that keeps them playing on the server too.

quick reply, but pb gives many problems and lag, than lets not forget that pb still isnt waterproof ever heard of "undetected hacks"?

About the lags, I'm not that sure, cause few months ago PS2 was the only one server with PB disabled and the laggiest of PS servers !!

Of course some cheats pass through the PB protection but imo it keeps most of the cheaters away !!!

Atm, there is 3 PS servers without PB (PS1, PS4 and PS6) and 3 others PB free (PS2, PS3 and PS5)... Quite equilibrated, isn't it !! :wink:

What you mean? If i understood good, we are noobs, nubs, lamers, idiots, etc. because we couldn't do something? Great. Is PS a machine or some people? Do you know words faith and believe...?

Some people here did not learn that other people may not "feel" in internet as they. Example of me, I can't act and feel the same like in real life. I just can't. I tried many times to do it... But I lost patient. I'm not patient man. In my life I also tried to learn to be more patient, but i lost patient :lol:

About PB: Yes, disabling it is also good move. So many people have got problems with it - f.e. I can't install other game with PB, otherwise when i join to a ET PB server, ET crashes and i usually have to uninstall the game i installed, reinstall ET and do many other things which i don't like to do.

U should play for fun, when you first time play E.T. a new world opens for you, and you should depend on faith an believe.
If u don't have faith in the way you believe if you are a good fragger, then u simply don't become one

Just play for fun not for lvls, if u don't have fun in you're life then u find other maners to entertaim you''re life.
It's kinda the same with E.T.

May I add that we (specifically Icefrost & Damelon) are always open for ideas, give players the opportunity to make suggestions and always do the best we can.
