Clarification about rules.

I would like to know the exact criteria for kicking/baning due to Team Kills please.

Taken from the rulebook: "Teamkilling (TK) and Teambleeding (TB) is not allowed and will result in a warning. If it happens again you will be kicked or banned from the server (depending on the situation)."

I was playing on the server this noon, and yes I did kill some of my teammates (hey, who doesnt from time to time, right?) when, apparently, I have killed the "wrong" person (aka PS chicken) who then without warning went ahead and kicked (term banned) me saying I TK too much. I am certain I did not TK more than the average player. I might be wrong though thats why I would like to get an explanation (not only for my private case) please.

I'm not here to stir shit up or any of that sort so please keep this thread informational and to the point.

This is how it went down: Chicken runs towards me (disguised as an enemy, he was covert-ops) so I shoot and kill him (is this not a normal instinct, to fire at an enemy?) he then proceeds to type "omg" then after just a couple of minutes I accidentally hit him (didn't kill this time), his next action is kicking me.

i can't judge because wasn't there and didnt saw
but i sometimes shoot enemy who comes to me but if you aim big red cross comes at my place at least;)
maybe you did it more he saw
and now you banned?

If he kicked u without warn , then he did a mistake, usualy we use !ban to kick out guyz who do intentional TKs. For TK in the game it s a bit more complicated, we all do some Tks in the fight and it s a part of the game (nobody can say that he never do team kills) and ja sometimes more TKs cuz of the map, the game or ..., anyway it depend of the situation, if somebody is realy on a TK spree he must be warned to be more watchful about or be kicked for a short time if he continue this way, anyway if u do a TK, just say a simple SORRY and usualy it s enough to calm down the situation

I was using the MG42, only a couple of shots are enough to take anyone down mind you. Oh and I'm not banned just pissed at the abuse. Emos should not have a place among admins. He could have banned me the last round where I had a total 5 or more TK's (I keep vsay'ing 'move' and 'clear the path' but people kept getting into my line of fire acting like rambos) but he didn't, he only kicked when I specifically (and unintentionally) TK'ed him.

I always vsay 'Sorry' after I TK and it certainly was not a TK spree as you call it.

You tked me i forgive ya but then i get personal message from Henry and he said u tked him 4 times already and he couldnt kick u becuz he was to low lvl to kick and thats why i kicked u.

I'm not here to fight just to get the CORRECT rules and the ones that apply to admins too. That is something I've failed to get so far. Make it clear for me please dear mister Chicken.

I have sometimes quite a lot of TKs due to the fact that my teammates enjoy to run into my airstrikes (NOOOOOO there is no big smoke screen

:D:D ) or just walk on my mines...both can happen but to shoot a covert ops in disguise from your own team to death, thatÂ´s hard

well, sometimes there come's a point, when TK's get annoying, annoying like hell, and if it's like chicken wroted above, he just did right.

anyway, here we go, i will clearify, so u don't need to reply anymore:

there is no guideline for it. if u TK me one on purpose f.e. or if u TK me several times not on purpose i just could kick u without any warn. sure it's always better to warn and i bet he did, but anyway, there's no guideline about how to handle such situations. don't try to get every little part explained. it can't be written all down at rulebook. some situations are just up to the "admin feeling".

The TK's on Henry were all on the Oasis map, me camping a regular MG position covering the exit from the upper allied house (where the allied command post is). I was regularly 'spraying and praying' and like I've said more than once, I kept yelling "move" and "clear the path" but for some reason, some of my teammates (this includes PS Henry) decided they should run right into the spot my bullets were hitting. Tough luck guys, better watch where you going next time.
The TK on Chicken while him being a covert-op took place since he jumped right into my face and died from 3 shots. I get jumpy when people do that. I dont see a reason to kick without a warning, no there was not a warning, nor a private message even though I yelled "sorry" each and every time I TK'ed.

I feel I made my argument clear, didn't take any of it personal either. I still hold to my claim of unfair treatment. TK's are part of the game and everyone gets TK'ed from time to time (wish I could kick anyone who annoys me :roll:

), just be sure not to TK any admins else you get the chop

about "this" situation u talk, i can't say anything cuz i wasn't around when it happened. but be sure, we don't invite every guy into our PS community. chicken always acted decent in the past and judget the right way, just how it have to be.

well at all, this topic is a bit useless in my mind, or else it should be written at admin abuse section, if u feel abused in that situation. cuz this talk is just about 1 situation and not about the whole PS rules around.

anyway, best way to clear such things, is talk on a direct way to the person / member / admin, to clear things up. we are allways openminded and try to help everybody around. but yea, we aren't machines, failures can happen of c. but i don't wanna say, chicken did wrong, i simply can't say anything about.

well, hard words.. it isn't about teamkilling a admin to get a kick. u could also TK a normal player around, adminstatus doesn't matter in such situations. he just noticed it fast on this way, cuz u TKed him.

Yeah true....u tk too much on Oasis and ur tk index was -3.25...but next map(Venice)u take medic i guess and u tk Chicken who said Stop tk! and than i send him P.M kick him m8...he tk me last map 4 times and now u too....than he kick ya...
Uhh..and i didnt decide to go on place where ur bullets shoot cause lot of my teammates go on that way too....and i saw that u tk somebody else too...dont remember name exatly...so u really desarve kick for that i think

I'm done defending myself as its obvious you guys just stick with each other and even falsify the FACTS (maybe if you REALLY check stats you would see I only played soldier class for the last couple of days, Henry) in order not to admit to mistake.
