Damn my ET doesnt work!!!

Guys i have problem... I had problem - i couldnt see my color binds... Icefrost helped me - gave me 4 files to put to etmain and etpub... I did it, yesterday everything was working, today i lunched my et and i saw grey screen (as usual) and i was waiting for intro...And i was waiting and waiting, and nothing happened! Still grey screen! Guys please help me!!! LIfe without Wolf is imposibble for me!
btw my problem is: et doesnt work (grey screen)

Maybe the problem come from here for the grey screen.....
But tell us more about ur config and if u have done some others things on ur computer before it happen

weird...

k i will tell what was happened before and how i helped out a bit.

he was playing on servers and was mad, cuz he saw his binds not anymore in colors, also not in his words, like if i press a binded key with my own text, it shows only the command, for example if i do cheers, we all can see YEAAA WAZZZUUUP f.e., but he can only see Wunderbar.

other problem was, he couldn't see anymore the XP when he pressed tab, he saw a other rate for it, dunno remember the name from it

i had this problem too in the past and fixed it. the problem was, cuz i played before on a other (non PS server) and those files was updated by it:

etmain
- cgame_mp_x86.dll
- ui_mp_x86.dll

etpub
- cgame_mp_x86.dll
- ui_mp_x86.dll

i deleted those files and got them new from kju again. all worked fine for me again, i saw again the colors and my created message in my binds and could see the xp again.

so i told him to do this like i did, i sended him those files again from my folder and it should work.

like he said, it also worked yesterday after it, so weird that now ET don't run anymore.

i dunno atm a solution / reason for this, don't think it's cuz of my files, worked also perfect for me in the past, but i will think about it.

Icefrost im not telling that is your fault. Maybe it causes my f*cking damn hell slow machine called computer... I dont know what to do now, i think only format will help... But 1st June NEW PC yoohooo!

For binds and colors it was simple i have the same problem often just reinstale whaleclient..........huum afterall maybe it's not this, but to be sure: have u ur hitsounds on or ?????

And for XP i have this problem too but it always fix alone without doing anything...

mh just saw those files i writed above had a new date and changed / used a backup for them.

and yea i know maserman

maser & me are talking atm on xfire and try to fix it.

edit: done all working fine again, he can play like before, levels and xp saved.
