Big & strange problem | Awaiting connection*

Since a week I cant play Wolf and I dont know why :/ When I try to connect with PS or other servers I cant becouse they are disable. Im using the all seeing eye and all servers I search and refresh had 9999 ping and I must use "force connect" to connect with server but when Wolf is turning on all I can see is AWAITING CONNECTION.

When I try to connect in normal way PLAY ONLINE -> CONNECT TO IP, I see the same AWAITING CONNECTION. And when I reflesh the server list nothing happens, the serverlist is empty. I looks like somebody was turning off my net when I want to play :/
Just all forms of connection are imposible

I try to reinstall Wolf twice, I even remove it from my Pc and install it again but it didint help. I remove my firewall and antivir to and still nothing.
I dont know what to do else. Please guys help me
I didint install any new programs on my PC

I do what tha FAQ says but it didint help. I thing I do everything good but still nothing happens :/

I try to auto-detect connection settigs on The all seeing eye and look what happens : NETWORK TOO UNSTABLE TO GET A GOOD READING

What is your ISP? (you're polish so ISP is for example TP, GTS Energis, etc.)

go to
speedtest.pl and test your speed and see what is means

Sh*t I thought I fix it :/ I was connect one time, download maps and now it happens again.

I "fix" it by removing all Et folders. I left only Et key and again install wolf et with 2.60b patch becouse I had 2.60 version I think thats no difference but it helps only for one time :/

maybe your administrator or user block some ports eg. 27961
than ask him

My net speed is 125 kbps and haw can you help me now when I done what you want ??

Frodo Im using the same provider since 2002 year and never have problems with wolf so I think that net and provider arent the problem

ISP calls Mad Boy you wont know it becouse its private firm only in my city

Arni can have right - maybe u have blocked ports. Mail/phone/talk with admin and request him for list of blocked ports in ur network. If ports which needs ET are blocked - kill admin

I had the same problem bout year ago - it lasts 2 weeks (awaiting connection...) then everything become normal

btw: If u have friend who is using the same provider as U - go to him and install et and try there (if he/she is not playing wolf:D) If there won't be problem - its a problem from ur "side" >>format

Are you crazy?

Do not do format! Never do! You may have some worms/viruses, check with HijackThis and put here a log ok?

Like Arni said, you may have blocked ports, have u installed any program which is using internet last week? Or Firewall?

BTW call admin and kick he's ass because "you /-/****** unlock ports for et or die"

But format removes all problems:D Rights like Frodo said. Scan for worms, viruses, adware, spyware etc.

Ummmmmm ok THIS is weird...

Gangstar listen up mate. Do what you did last time so you can connect again and download maps like you said. BUT do not connect to a PS server, just connect to some other server. Please respond ASAP

Maserman I will ask my neighbor about it he is playing ET to. If it dont help I will ask my provider about those ports.

About virus case I have scan my PC five mabe more times and there is nothing. I used Spy Bot to check it to but it didint find nothing finaly a check my PC by Easy Cleaner but still the same nothing :/

Ammz the problem is that I cant connect to any server

On wolf I have refresh them every 5 minutes and the server list is empty.. NO CONNECTION. I connect one time prabobly by removing and installing again wolf and do what faq says but it help only for one time.

If all youre advices wont help I will do format. I dont want to do it but if all fails I have to.

An empty serverlist within ET is a common problem, but is that how you connect to servers?
What if you connect with the console?

Start up ET > bring down console > type: /connect 213.239.219.249:27960 (PS1 for example) > and hit enter

- You dont have other people using the same connection? (family, brothers sisters on a nother pc in the house?)
- What firewall are you using?
- You tried portforwarding?

EDIT: Ow maybe try connect during night (22 or later) maybe ur admin blocked ports at x to x o'clock (i had the same in my network).

-Im only child and nobody is using my PC exept me
- Im using Norton Internet Security (but i tryied to uninstall it but nothing change. That firewall never make me any truble)
- I read what is prot forwarding and I think its to difficult for me. Im poor in that kind of PC using skills.

Im now sure that is foult of my provider :/ (im gonna kill that *beep*) becouse I asked my neighbor about Et and his servers are disable to so that port provider should help but I dont know how to do it. Just like I said its too difficult to me. I try to contact with my provider but today Is Saturady and he is off to Monday so I will be sure in 100 % until Monday :/
Warren if you have some advices for my how to easy fix this problem with that port forwarding post it here. Mabe you show me how to do it in easyer way
