I like this map but can be a little quick sometimes, alot of the time i see that the allied team spawn camp from that window in there spawn! its really annoying, and most of the people doing it are either rookies or dont understand the rules or are another language. so maybe this map should go??? what do others think??

also i hate base race just my opinion on it.

Edit: Why i hate base race.

1. The spawns! someone runs in, gets an obj box thing, everyone spawns. Oh crap they shoot you shoot back and get done for sk. and sometimes i see alot of people proned in there shooting people as they come through, Hmm spawn camping

2. You just collide with each other, over an open field.

3. Fog its a very foggy map cant see much.

Thank you Biohazard for speaking out against baserace. I hate that map. I think conceptually it is awesome. I like the building components thing, and I think it could be turned into some fantastic map making. However, baserace itself is bleak. It is like a team deathmatch in a big open field.

As far as base is concerned, it is a bit short. I love RTCW maps though. I played that game since the day it got released. So, once and a while, I like to see an old original map pop up. I don't think they are good on PS1 though. Those maps are tiny, designed for like 8vs8, not 20vs20.

I dont like TC_base. reason is that axis usually starts to camp near allies base, FORCING them to try shoot them from spawn. I hate that map design.
pretty much only way is to go round through the stairs and next to CP. and other way is simply suicide.

Remove map tc base +1

There are other versions of baserace, like that where is big building at the center. Thats good imo. I dont want baserace off, coz its good for bigger ammount of players and covert actions

Yep it sucks when its like 20 vs 20 it lags like hell for me!, and when i change my rate, cl_maxpackets, cl_timenudge and snaps so that i dont lag, i get less hits! and it just sucks.. i dont understand how people play like it

also i play best with

rate 25000
cl_maxpackets 100
cl_timenudge 0
snaps 20

if i use this when its like 20 vs 20 people teleport all over the place!! and then sometimes ET would suddenly lag and when it stops. im dead

am i the only one who likes baserace then ..

i like it cause you got to build a base i thinks its cool
maybe someone who makes maps and read this can make something like baserace only then with much better?

3 is the best, tc_base is a nice map but maybe not with so many players :S it was made for few players.
