Tell_target

Postby PinkRabbit » Sat Feb 02, 2008 22:16

Lately I found a script to pm/tell a message to the anemy u are pointing at atm.
The problem is, it doesn't realy word cause the tell_target is an unknown cmd... (see code)

Code: Select all
set insultt0 "tell_target ^6How does that feel? huh?; set insultt vstr insultt1"
set insultt1 "tell_target ^6Does it hurt much?; set insultt vstr insultt2"
set insultt2 "tell_target ^6I've got you in my Sites!...; set insultt vstr insultt3"
set insultt3 "tell_target ^6I'm Behind you!; set insultt vstr insultt4"
set insultt4 "tell_target ^6Turn around and face me!; set insultt vstr insultt5"
set insultt5 "tell_target ^6BooHoo !; set insultt vstr insultt6"
set insultt6 "tell_target ^6You like it from behind?; set insultt vstr insultt7"
set insultt7 "tell_target ^6Who's fraggin who??; set insultt vstr insultt8"
set insultt8 "tell_target ^6Eat Lead; set insultt vstr insultt9"
set insultt9 "tell_target ^6Run for youre life; set insultt vstr insultt10"
set insultt10 "tell_target ^6Chickening Out already??; set insultt vstr insultt0"
set insultt "vstr insultt0"
bind mouse3 "vstr insultt"

So I was wondering if u don't have a thing like [q] or something that stands for enemy ur pointing at like teammate ur pointing at...
So I taugh [p] is teammate ur pointing at so [q] must be enemy ur pointing at so I changed script to:

Code: Select all
set insultt0 "say /m tell_target ^6How does that feel? huh?; set insultt vstr insultt1"
set insultt1 "say /m [q] ^6Does it hurt much?; set insultt vstr insultt2"
set insultt2 "say /m [q] ^6I've got you in my Sites!...; set insultt vstr insultt3"
set insultt3 "say /m [q] ^6I'm Behind you!; set insultt vstr insultt4"
set insultt4 "say /m [q] ^6Turn around and face me!; set insultt vstr insultt5"
set insultt5 "say /m [q] ^6BooHoo !; set insultt vstr insultt6"
set insultt6 "say /m [q] ^6You like it from behind?; set insultt vstr insultt7"
set insultt7 "say /m [q] ^6Who's fraggin who??; set insultt vstr insultt8"
set insultt8 "say /m [q] ^6Eat Lead; set insultt vstr insultt9"
set insultt9 "say /m [q] ^6Run for youre life; set insultt vstr insultt10"
set insultt10 "say /m [q] ^6Chickening Out already??; set insultt vstr insultt0"
set insultt "vstr insultt0"
bind mouse3 "vstr insultt"

but then I got the error: no players found with [q]...

So can someone help me how to tell or pm the enemy ur pointing at?

btw don't mention the things I say, script is taken from someone but I wanne change it to wisp an enemy if I'm going to knive them :D

Siegemode is correct. You can only point and teammates and display their name. It would even be close to a hack if you could just point and see if there's an enemy behind a bush/tree/wall whatever ;)

Yes I've read it but it doesn't help me.
The tell-target command worked but it seems that it has been removed from cvar list or something
so I'm only trying to fiend the replacing cmd or an other way to wisper/pm ur target (ur pointing at).
