The Insane Maps Event & The ETpro Maps Event

Dear players of the Prime Squadron Community,

The Event Committee is proud to present you 2 new events.
We decided to try something new. For this event you don't have to subscribe. Both events will take place at our Fun&Obj server!
We will host 2 new events, one for the #fun and other for the &obj: The Insane Maps Event and The ETpro Maps Event.

The Story
It was just a normal day in the week. Dr. Eggnabf was in his usual smelly mood, he decided that going to sleep was not a good idea. Only the idea of getting up early, bwegh. Also other players of our community had this idea (again) f.e.: Palleauauaua, PowderFlower and ARRoWDoWN.

The thing they needed tonight wasn't sleep, they just needed to play one more round ET with other PS#1 players. Dr. Eggnabf did the !maps command to find out which maps where going to be played next..

He looked at the list (he got confused by all those weird colors and stuff), and was thinking: always those same maps. Always the standard rotation It's time for something new! It was such a rare day that Dr. Eggnabf finally had a good idea. After a major crash of his Nabftools, he needed something new to gain his reputation back. The idea was born.

Briefing
Soldiers, we need your help. Ahead of us is undiscovered terrain. We need you to try to make any sense of what were going to see. We will get in terrain, where nothing seems what it is. To help you discover we will give you a very broad variety of weapons. Be prepared for the Insane maps rotation.

If you survive this test, you have almost finished your training. To test if you are a rofessional yet, we will test if your skills are good enough to be a true enemy territory player. We will test this with a set of common ETpro maps with pro settings (adjusted very old PS#2 NQ cfg

) and a SW rotation: The ETpro Maps Event!

The Insane Maps Event:
When: Friday 25 may at 20:00 CEST
Where: PS#Fun&Obj

Maps:

Hypercube - Don't get lost on the map
Super Goldrush - Gold, music, lameness and more
NZ Arena - Sad mood? Try this colorful map!
British Bulldog - jaja, Snow and Santa in the Air
Crazy Battle - Spacy and Spicy
Capture the Toilet Paper - Don't forget to visit the Haunted House (somewhere in the basement). Awesome map Save the Admiral!
Tennis - Fancy a Game of Tennis?
Mars - Imagine yourself in the Universe
Toaster - not especially lame, but lame enough

The ETpro Maps Event:
Time: Wednesday 30 may at 20:00 CEST
Where: PS#Fun&Obj

Just a small Q

... How about organizing this (&obj) event on PS#2 ETPro, TZAC protected (as it was before the closure) instead of on FnO?

Also I am puzzled by the organization of the (&obj) event. Will it be smth like stopwatch mode of smaller teams or just random teams trying to get the obj right?

Tsjaaa hmmm, I wouldn't frame the event as an etpro 6v6 or something like that, but rather to set the server into pro direction as far as possible. Keep in mind we are a community with a strong base in NQ mr Key

I think if you include Oasis you need to include Radar and karsiah as well. And also the ETPro community plays Missile on b3

about karsian: I did the maplist and I omitted karsian only becose I HATE THE MAP!

If u want add karsian too I don't see so much problems

About missile: b3/b4 haven't this big difference

Conclusion: Add radar
Add karsian (if u want)
B3=B4

P.s. Oasis (like goldrush too) aren't the original version, but the Stopwatch version for ETpro

Hehe come all to the coming event on Friday 20:00 CEST (server time of !time), it is becoming freaking awesome. To give a little more info, I modified my mix fun hour script, added now all the weapons which are possible and I added some surprises especially for you, I am sure you guys will like it

.

I will add the maps so you can download them ahead of the event. Recomended for people with slow internet, because we have quite much 'new' maps.
