Im Gummiklubba and im an old ETplayer, really old and ive been playing since the start of ET
been in different clans , high admin on 2 servers during the last 2 years and the latest is now sleeping
ive tried to stop playing ET for some years ago cos i think it was a lot of cheating going on, but hell i just cant stop ... this game rocks and now when ive reinstalled drivers and ET for probably the 1000 time i think i got it to work on PS1
still i have some troubles with some maps that lowers my fps too much really , to keep a good aim
one serious problem with ET as i see it is players that use bad settings to mess up the hitbox
and i see it very clearly on PS1 if i start playing in the morning i can aim at head and really hit haha thats funny.. then when a lot of players comes in it dissapears and i have actually a little film from the map (capuso airport ?) dont know if thats the correct name ?
were i stand a long time aiming in a players head from the side pretty close and shot 6-7 HS i can hear the pling-pling -pling-pling
the player turns and shot me easy like nothing (thats a big ET-bug or a cheater ? )and he has 86 hp left ???? hahaha cool...
anyway! do u know a good way to tweak the cfg to get a steady fps ? sometimes i have steady 125 on some mapparts at the sides (moving crosshair) and 25-35 in the middle (can anyone explain how that can be possible to have that big diff ?

Regarding the "headshots", maybe the player was being healed by a bunch of medic packs on the ground? As far as I know it should only take 3-4 hs to kill a player

when u play, u see only few polygons, but the engine loads all of them, so if ur in the middle of a map, then all the vertices and edges are loaded in ur memory. this happens in maps whose authors didnt know how to use hint brush in gtk.

so basically update processor/ ram -> better fps.
