Hey guys, I got a question concerning my config:

In my class selector I want to add a line where it chooses besides the class and the weapon under weaponbank 3, also weaponbank 2. For weaponbank 2 I want to select only a single pistol instead off akimbo, because now i automatically get akimbo when i reached lightweapons 4.

Does someone know how to implement that in those lines?

to have it work correctly it needs bit more complicated configs...

anyways, if its about medic at ps1, it would work like this in console for axis:
/team r 2 3 38
and for allies:
/team b 2 8 38

it is like
/team [1] [2] [3] [4]

[1]= team (r/b)
[2]= class (0=sol 1=med 2=eng 3=fop 4=cov)
[3]= weaponslot 3 (main)
[4]= weaponslot 2 (secondary)

havent really figured out all weapon numbers as i found this as etpro script, but it seems to work bit different in NQ.
i used to have most of weapons listed by number, but after reinstalling.... well few files got lost ^^

At the moment im working on it, but i got some problems:

When I want to make this script i need 12 buttons for my class selector, I was making a toggle script but realised that toggling takes too much time when you want too choose another class just before spawning.

Could it be possible to put the pistol in for example this line?

And this works perfectly if you want to be allied medic with smg and single pistol :)

And this works good for axis medic with single pistol. The way I solved the problem? I made 2 cfg, one for axis and one for allies :) I binded them to two buttons, but with a toggle script you could fit it into 1 button :) All in all, (I dont have all weaps) it requires me 10 keys :)

He already said it, it's possible.
But without a toggle script it isn't possible I think.
I have 3 scripts: one for spec, one for allies and one for axis. Just join axis or allies or specs and it automaticly loads. (very handy) So maybe you should make something like that? (A)

Well you should do this:

First thing; you have to put this in etmain or profile cfg. (dont know for sure):

Then, in your NoQuarter folder create 3 separate configs:
autoexec_allies.cfg
autoexec_axis.cfg
autoexec_spectator.cfg

in that config's you should make what you want.
but I have also some funny :P

Allies: set cg_HUDBackgroundColor "0 0 .5 .8"
Axis: set cg_HUDBackgroundColor ".5 0 0 .8"
Specs: set cg_HUDBackgroundColor "0 .5 0 .8"

With what you can make your backgroundcolor at screen things. like fireteam in blue/red color and when game finished screen green :P Dunno if you like it. but you have to see it yourself :)[/et_code]

well F1-F12 is voting yes/no, ready/not ready, demo, screenshot and some nick binds.
arrows are spawnpoints. keyboard letters have different cfg settings. so i have 6 free keys above arrows ins,home,end etc for classes and the numpad for teams.

Both sides have a small part black, I guess that is because off running it with r_mode 4 (800x600)

In some way I can't fix that.. I tried r_mode 8 but didn't work :<

It works for me, I changed the r_mode+r_customheight+r_customwidth values in etmain/etconfig.cfg, etmain/profiles/*/etconfig.cfg, nq/profiles/*/etconfig.cfg, noquarter/profiles/*/etconfig.cfg.

seta r_mode "-1" unsafe
seta r_customheight "1600"
seta r_customwidth "2560"

Is it actually neccesary to put those settings in those files? My resolution on my laptop is:

Height: 800
width: 1280

So should I do it like this:?

seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_customheight "800"
seta r_customwidth "1200"
