hunk error

hunk error

hallo

guys i have in my cfg hunmegs 128 but after every map i have a error of
hunk-allocatetempmemory failed on 524288

some help please

128 is not so much, I play with 512. Though you might want to try 256 first maybe.

i tryed 128,256,512 and even 1040 but problem stay's
i also re-installed et still the same

sure it is also set to 512? Sometimes ET wines about it. I had to use +set com_hunkmegs 512 when starting it.

Clear some old/unused .pk3's (maps) from your etmain folder. Not sure how much you have in there?

You should also delete the hunkusage.dat in your /nq folder.

Start ET and see what happens :) (256 is already more than enough)

only in nq folder or olso in main folder????
