Empty TS

Postby Jolly » Sat Feb 27, 2010 0:22

I wonder why so many players don't use team-speak. i know that not everyone can use it, but it is nice when we can talk to each other. We can also do more objs =] not everyone want to play only for frags, headshots, panzerkills, this is spartas, or something like that and it is much easier to talk than write to somebody but it is only my opinion =D so tell my thy TS is always empty?

most can type and read it but talking is way harder,

i can talk english on a proper way.

Recently I started to use PS TS server and it is usually empty. I think the main problem is not the fact that ppl don't know english good enough, but the fact that their english isn't perfect and every nation brings another spelling of english words. Plus TS voice transmission isn't perfect. For those reasons it may be hard for everyone to understand each other, despite good knowledge of english.

I recently started to use TS server together with my mates dmg|Inc* & dmg|Bard*. But we speak in our native language - polish, so it's natural that we communicate faster, with less words and with perfect understanding of every word. We can use some specific shortened phrases to express a lot and so on...

On polish CS server I play voice communication is popular, but everybody speak polish so it's nice and smooth.

I'm affraid that when many ppl come on TS and speak something using quite good english, probably it would still be a mess. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to meet more people on TS server.

Since TS3 is still in beta and plagued with exploits I'm not gonna risk it (yet).

my multigaming clan (iam not owner just admin)
have teamspeak 3 alrdy and there is no such of bugs rly found to make it not work.

since beta version was release we got an free ts3 server from our host company were we have our rootserver.

and till today iam quiet online each day and dont found any bug issue or errors on ts3

so imo ts3 even as beta is rdy to get used.

indeed, I haven't seen any errors so far or heard of any. TS3 is rly the best because there is no delay, very good quality and many extra features.

i dont know if thats allow what they do as it is still in beta tought they only give premission to companys to setup 1 server as beta testing and thats that till official release (i can be wrong ofcause :P )

anyhow stephan if you want to shall be a great idea to let us knowning about ts3 and test it with under our community friends or regular ppl.

(at icy) as so spoke about ventrillo you sure never try ts3 nor ts2 alot.
or your have crappy pc with settings cause see no reason to complain or say things about complications wile gaming since ive no trouble at all and iam always on ts when i be online on my computer 8) but you shall have a point in a matter :D

at under what rock you did your winter nap?
no offence but if you tell us here now that xfire would be beter then ts i should say that you rly need to buy something new or atleast try (as i assume you rarley did) :d

my 2 cents dont take it wrong or as an offending mgs but ts3 is quiet improved and rly worth to try then any others imo
