The only "bottleneck" is the graphics card in my opinion (8600GTS can run ArmA at the same rate as a 7900GT 256mb - 30fps :( ) - but pls, stay away from any gigabyte silentpipe edition (it overheated in 2 hours in my case :\ )
So i'd recomend buying a GTX or looking into some radeons (2900 series maybe?)
The other thing, CPU has a FSB of 1333MHz (if i'm not mistaken) so overclocked RAM isn't gonna make any visible difference (800 * 2 => 1600MHz FSB)
+ i don't know if the motherboard can support such memory (Supports DDR2 1066* memory for outstanding system performance. - not sure if it's the right one)
But overall, it's a really nice computer, QW should run smoothly on it (if my E6400 and 7950GT can run it at 70-125FPS, this beasty should have 125 constant @ 1680x1050)

@Short : I have the asus 7950GT 512Mb at the moment :)

Edit: forgot to mention, my 7950 gets 125FPS in ET (8600GTS got the avg. 75/43 in some maps, 7900GT 333constant/1800max) so don't be surprised if your new computer runs ET slower then your previous box :)

(probably an issue with unsuported cards - DX10 cards with their new arhitecture are probably more of an issue then other DX9 cards)

my box what i got atm, it got radeon 9000 or something :D
Dont think it runs faster than the new one :O. Or does it.

+Radeon 9000 dont support most of other games.

U mean DirectX10 is like more badder than DX9 ?

Nah directx 10 is awsome, but the problem is that the programmers have to add support for the dx10 cards to the game (if they don't the game normaly runs slower - for example, ArmA didn't support DX10 cards so they got lousy performance, when the patch fixed that, the 8800GTX was finnaly able to run it at very high settings smoothly) becouse of the different arhitecture of the card

Hum i don't know how ET runs on a radeon 9000, but i was disappointed when i got the 8600GTS and remembered that my 4200Ti (64mb) ran the thing with +90 fps constant (on a 1600+ AMD :\ )

Ow, now i get it :D

But i dont know how its possible that 4200 Ti runs fps better than 8600GTS :)

Have no idea how that could happen but it did (the other shock was when i tried a borrowed radeon X1300...76fps @ 1680x1050 constant...:S)

Considering cost vs effectiveness, I'de go for an Nvidia 8800GT card which performs better than the GTS (both version) and almost on par with the GTX but has a market value amounting to half of a GTX ;)
