Yet... ^^

Game is solid, i like the teamplay and overall look, but i think i'd have to drop it for 1-2 months. ;/
I have now bit too less RAM for it, and for like 1/5 matches, have heavy system crash. (Sry Care, that's just happened)
Around august i plan to buy new computer.
Till then i don't know how many crashes my shattered patience can take :?

On more feature that I've noticed and it positive regarding objective aspect of game.
There can be only one C4 planted on one objective. When one is ticking I guess you can't plant another. When 2 ppl are planting simultaneously, when 1st plant is finished, the second plant is interrupted/stopped insantly. That allows to avoid awkward situations when you have 3-4 charges on obejctive. Just plant and defend that one charge - this is good approach.
Also when defusing, 2 ppl can't defuse simultanously and therefore faster. But on the other hand when one guy - let's say A, is defusing and then comes Bushwhacker (B) who is a dedicated 'engineer' and have ability to defuse faster. Then if B starts defusing, A's defusal is stopped because a dedicated, more efficient in this case, character is defusing.
Same goes for repairing the EV (counterpart of ET's tank/truck) - 2 ppl can't do it at the same time, thus making it faster. But still (I guess, not 100% sure), dedicated classes have priority.

I've recently seen you in-game. I'm avi for some 5on5, but at this moment whole matchmaking system doesn't work too good and whole process of finding match is frustrating most times.

I decided to try this game aswell. Was level 5 and leading in my teams scores, when I read something like this in the chat:
"How is a level 5 guy first place? What's your secret?"

The only thing left now is to get called a cheater and I can retire as a champion :D

Anyway I found the game quite enjoyable. It's a bit disapointing you cannot use all the classes freely and only three different classes can be played in one match, and that there like 3 fops and 4 medic classes with slight differences, but only 1 sniper class. But the maps are nicely designed and hardly consist a chokepoint you cannot circumvent.

If only it had the administration capabilities like ET has. Keeping teams balanced is pretty tough sometimes.

Yea, im also often high on scoreboard (belive it or not :P ), it seems all those years wasted on ET finally gave fruits. It's like with riding on bicycle, some things You won't forget.

No, there are 3 sniper classes/mercs: Vasili, Red Eye and Sparks. Ofc that last one is also a med/support class.

At beginning i thought it too, but on lvl 15 i can say there are big differents between mercs.

If only it had the administration capabilities like ET has. Keeping teams balanced is pretty tough sometimes.

Indeed.
My only 3 annoyences about Dirty Bomb:
-Vasili is too OP, You can easily have headshots thru obstacles while jumping, no recoil even if You shoot him directly in the face...
-Balancing system (but it's been slighty improved)
-Unplayable ranked games (too many cheaters)

With a proper admin system it could be a new ET
Goldy, try Stopwatch mode, i have a feeling that ironicaly players there are more focused on objective than on standart "Objective mode".

I play most time competition matches and since they have set up the anti cheat system i have never met a cheater again. Biger problem in comp is that every newcomer above lvl 5 can play it and with my luck i allways get these newbs into my team. Result is then that you play smth that feels like 3vs5 or they just become frusted by the skill bracket and leave directly. So i need more of you to fill up my competition team :)

I played competition mode after instalation of new anti-cheat system... Dunno, maybe i just had terrible bad luck. For around 10 ranked games i played at least in 4 i had obvious cheater. One time it was so annoying dude, he had like every possible cheat, including anti-kick...
For now this anti-cheat doesn't work at all imo.

I kinda agree. While I haven't played as Vasilli yet killing one at range is pretty impossible with regular assault rifles. However Flethcer seems bit too strong, as he is fast and throws nades like there was no tomorrow.

As for stopwatch I have to agree. Players there seem to know what they are doing and actually try to do objective. I also think much higher level players play that rather than objective. At least when I played Objective the level range was 1-6, at Stopwatch I think it was 1-50 at worst :P

And yeah the anti-cheat is pretty poor, as on the first game I played I already met a pretty obvious cheater.

Omg, I haven't played DB since long time. Haha, yeah being on top of the table just because you're generally good in shooters is a normal thing. But noooo, according to some lowbobs you're a cheater :D.

I think Skyhammer is OP. He's way too versatile - good gunner, ammo packs + airstrike. Though it's a good entry class for newcomers. Besides I like Proxy.

Mr. Sloth here.

I started playing a bit of Dirty Bomb recently. Quite enjoyable.
Also I am doing a classic me, I can't get proper FPS so I am making the game look as ugly as possible by using high FPS configs. Sometimes I still have quite big drops while shooting, which makes it hard to aim.

I mostly play execution, maps are less FPS eating. Also better team play compared to objective mode, as far as I noticed.

I play as 'numb'
quoting deep:
henksmadje please read topic more carefully and other topics too where u reply, then u get the point and dont have to make stupid posts.

I already have Vassili and Proxy. Nice pack, but it's better to just unlock it playing for free.

That sums it up quite nicely. I highly suggest you at least try it and find a class you find fun to play with.
