While I've spent my youth with Playstation, I actually prefer Xbox controller for PC since it needs no additional programs to work.

And when the game doesn't need a cursor or first-person shooting the controller is almost always better :>

I've heard that XBox controller is 'plug&play' if you have Windows (obvious, both from Micro$oft), though once one guy brought up X360 controller and it didn't work with laptop.
Of course if you play Fifa/PES or some car racing on PC, console-like controller is useful and I once brought 2 controllers 40zł (10eur) each, which looked like PS2/3 controller and it worked well with PES 2010. Some time after I was dissatisfied with mouse & keyboard Jet/Heli steering in Battlefield 3. So I tried to use one of above-mentioned controllers. I think I had to use some software that was binding my controller's buttons and sticks to those from X360, since BF3 can use X360 controller. It was quite mess and didn't work for 100% eventually - for example I could shoot, but couldn't walk :D.

That's some expiriences.

wheeee, finally someone understands me :good:

yay im actually using them xbox drivers, since there are no drivers for playstation controllers, but they work as well, just displays the controller as a xbox controller :P and then touchpad of the ps4 controller works as well, quite awesome
