Google Chrome Internet Browser

Hey guys i downloaded today a new internet browser: Google Chrome

Its really fast with loading, and really simple. Bit firefox style.
However i like it Smile

no just kidding. Looks good .
Indeed bit like firefox only little better.
Just got a problem with flash programs. Might just be my computer.
Anyways if it gets improved and all bugs are out I think it might become just as populair as firefox and explorer.

No it doesnt. But if you want to have a transparent online profile(for Google Inc.) this is just ur browser! The faster browser is imo opera but firefox FTW!

i use G.chrome all ready more then 3 months
IE -- viruses and all other shits =shit
Firefox -- same + its very slow =shit
Google chrome -- fast and easy -no bugs -no virus = ok 4 me
dont for get ,this is my view point!

Been using chrome and FF together for some months. Chrome may be slightly faster but it has problems handling some sites (or sites have problems handling chrome Razz

).

Yea, I also use Chrome. It has a faster javascript engine then FireFox and IE and Chrome is also fast with browsing.

I love Chrome / Firefox / Safari because they 'follow' the webstandards (IE doesnt which is quite annoying when you're developing something for the web...)
Most of the time I use FireFox. Just need to get used with Chrome as I dont want to invest time in it atm Razz

Sounds weird but yea... I'm just too lazy to change the standard browser Smile

I use Chrome for 2 months now, and its great:D!
first had to install some things with Flash, but its way much better then Internet Explorer yeah. btw. you can do new cool things with the tabs. figure it out:D!

imo firefox is best, but I se google chrome for long time also Smile

firefox rox with opensource, and as I read some months ago statistcs for IE and firefox in safety days were :
Firefox: 346~~
IE: 52~~

that means u were using IE unsafety almost full year Smile

Google chrome opening some sites a bit different what is sometimes better

yes sure google Chrome is the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test/ and it was normal too, hitherto i used firefox which chocked my browsing capabilities .
But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier

before you decide to use any google crap, you might wanna have a look at this first!

and trust me, its even worse. my mother is an artist and does research about the transparent human beeing for over 10 years now. its not far away from the second world war. -gestapo, -stasi and what else. think about it!

Im sorry but you have no idea about what you talk. I wont take party for Firefox or Opera now. If your Firefox is very slow, you configured something really wrong. If both IE and Firefox has bugs (as you say at chrome "no bugs") then you should update them. There are bugs in Firefox (i can say this, because i use the daily build and commit bugreports, but the releases are pretty stable.
Only one point I agree, only IE use this cursed ActiveX objects. But today plugins from Adobe, Flash etc can contain much more risks.

@topic: well you should not forget that if you link your Chrome browser with a google-profile (mail etc) google is able to track everythig you do in this browser, even what you type in the search bar. Me for my part dont want this.!

"missing privacy" is the reason why i cant advise using this browser.

@"speed" chrome has a pretty fast Javascript-Engine. Thats all. Loading speed can be increased by socalled "prefetching", but you can have this with all browsers (atleast Firefox and Opera).

Internet Explorer is just a real pain in the ass I have no words for it but it sucks. Most sucky browser ever created. FireFox is very nice when you develop a website or web application because of the plugins. But Chrome is number 1 because of it's speed, nice and easy looks, and just because there is no big toolbar or something. Plenty of space to view a website (this is where a internet browser is created for).

What makes Chrome, in my eyes, better than Firefox is not that it is faster. And it can't be on the plugin side, as firefox has more powah here. It is the GUI.

Where Firefox, IE and the like have heavy and clumsy UI (user interface) with lots of unused buttons and space. You have 4-5 lines of tools, buttons, adress bars, favourites, bookmarks, windows etc., etc. Whereas in chrome all you have is 2 lines. With everything you need. That concept might not suit well with people who like to use their mouse, but me, I am a keyboard man. I just love to use hotkeys. So all I need is an adress bar ant the windows listed. Chrome is perfect.

Just as an example, take a look at this:

You acctually loose the feeling that you are using a program to run the internet. It feels like you are using the internet without a medium. It's hard to describe. You just have to see for yourself.
