It's cool. I fixed it after a restart. Seems like the host file didn't take affect till then, which is strange since I did reset the DNS cache. Oh well.

I tried to edit the host file and add: 192.246.40.62 etguidauth.evenbalance.com
Continously getting "awaiting connection x" where x -> infinity

I had to change the hunkmegs in the main etfolder (standard vanilla, no mods). It worked.

I have a question, without necessarily having to create a new topic I find it suitable to ask it here. How do people feel about the map voting system? Is it truly better than map rotation? I am an oldy and since I've come back I often experience people not getting their "vote through" quit...
