Guess what? Enemy Territory turned 7 years old today.
It all began in a galaxy far far.. *ughm* no, it was May 29th 2003, and the nice developers of Splashdamage thought it would be cool to give out the game we now know as Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for free.
Have 7 years really passed? Yes. Is ET still alive? Yes. Does it make sense? Probably not. Do we care? No!
ET gaming communities, like ours, are still alive and thriving. New maps, models and packs are still being released on a weekly basis. And the mod makers of No Quarter are about to release yet another version.
Yes, there it is. Our community turned 4 years old today.
It has been a great ride already, for some longer than others. Lots of ups and downs, twists and turns and a couple of loops to keep this rollercoaster going.
Some online games don't even last a year *ughm* Wolfenstein 2009 *ughm* but Enemy Territory kept and still keeps many of us hooked for so long already. Let's add another 4 years and see where we are then. A shout-out and a nice cold beer for all those players, regulars, members, admins and high admins who made our servers such an awesome place to be! Congratz!
Our beloved ET gaming community turns 4 years old on Monday, April 26th. To celebrate this great day, PS organizes a special 5on5 birthday cup on the following Saturday, at May 1st!
The cup will be played on ETPro in a 5 on 5 stopwatch mode, and is free to join for everyone. After you formed a 5 man team, sign-up and you're ready to go!
If you've difficulties finding or forming a team, you can apply for one of the 3 public teams. Space is limited so sign-up as soon as you can. Once the teams are full the team leaders will take care of the rest, so listen to them carefully!
For more info and a detailed overview of the cup rules, check out the PS 5on5 Birthday Cup topic.
